Title: Mathematical methods for blind image deconvolution

Abstract: Despite all the advances in digital photography, people are still often plagued by the problem of blurry photos when using digital cameras and camera phones. Removing motion blurring from photographs requires solving a challenging non-linear ill-posed inverse problem. In this talk, I will introduce several mathematical models, tools and numerical methods for to blind image de-blurring, including tight frames, L1 norm approximation and etc. At last, I will demonstrate how these tools can be used in other applications including visual tracking, human action recognition and bio-imaging.
